Retreat Neurosis / Lord Follin Beich (Split)

Favorite track: Lost.

H.L. I do not know, if it really makes sense to establish another project besides No Point in Living which sounds so similar. RETREAT NEUROSIS spreads mainly the same depressive atmosphere as NPIL. Maybe the songs are a bit simpler, darker or more repetitive. And maybe the guitars are just there for a wall of sound and not so much for virtuosity, but besides that, we hear three very recommendable depressive black metal tunes for the dark season. Favorite track: Lost.

Dave Aftandilian The sun bleeds blackness into the sky. A chill wind freezes my bones, but the loss of you cuts even deeper. I howl my pain into the void that surrounds me, but even my cry is muffled, distorted, empty. My heart has seen too much; now I hide it, shrouded in scars, deep inside. I feel nothing but numb—except for the desperation and terror and anger and…everything, nothing.
